Welcoming the Stranger: Communities of Faith and the Changing Refugee Landscape

Baltimore’s Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies (ICJS)

As the U.S. government suspends the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) and halts all funding to support newly arrived refugee families, faith-based organizations involved in refugee resettlement have been severely affected.
Join us for a conversation between Kristyn Peck and Christine Krieger about the evolving policies surrounding refugee services and the vital role of faith communities in this work. We will discuss how congregations can offer support at various levels and what it means to engage in this work through a religious lens.
