An Interfaith Discussion for International Women’s Day

A webinar which will focus on an interfaith discussion for International Womens Day. Open to secondary schools nationwide and free of charge
The Faith & Belief Forum has worked tirelessly for over 20 years to build good relations between people of all faiths and beliefs, and to create a society where difference is celebrated. We are the UK’s leading provider of interfaith workshops.
We are now offering secondary schools across the UK an exciting webinar designed especially for International Women’s Day, using our unique methodology.
The Webinar will allow pupils to hear from a diverse group of female speakers who will present, reflect on and discuss their own personal experiences of being a woman within their faith or belief. There will also be opportunity to ask questions.
This session will empower young people to:
- >Understand the intersectionality of identity through the use of personal stories
- >See effective interfaith dialogue modelled
- >Reflect on their own>> experiences in relation to this topic
- >Challenge assumptions and stereotypes
- >Increase their religious literacy, empathy and skills for dialogue
