Memory, Prayer and Resilience: remembering DC and Boulder

The program is sponsored by WisdomWithout Walls: an online salon for Jewish ideas

The purpose: to remember the victims of DC; pray for healing for the
victims of Boulder; and ask: Where are we, as American Jews, today?

The keynote will be delivered by Yossi Klein Halevi, writer and senior
fellow of the Shalom Hartman Institute.
Rabbi Jonah Pesner, Director of the Religious Action Center of Reform
Judaism and senior vice president of the URJ, will bring a message.
Rabbis from Overland Park (the hometown of Sarah Miligrim, who was
killed at the Capital Jewish Museum, along with her fiancé, Yaron
Lischinsky) and Boulder will share their thoughts. Cantors will offer
prayers. There will be music by such A-listers as Neshama Carlebach, Kol B’Seder, Peter Himmelman, Julie Silver, and others.

Attendance is by registration only
