The 2024 annual report- Attacks on Christians in Israel and East Jerusalem

27/03/2025

Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center

The Advocacy and Education Initiative project is concluding its second year, during which we continued our efforts to collect data on attacks and harassments against Christians and to take action to address the issue. The report we launched just before the weekend documents incidents from 2024, though we believe these cases represent only the tip of the iceberg in terms of the actual number of events. However, we are encouraged to see a greater willingness among Christian communities to cooperate, share updates, and even report incidents.

The 2024 report also includes incidents outside of Jerusalem—an area that was scarcely covered in the previous report—as well as an analysis of the complex situation on Mount Zion, particularly around the Cenacle (Room of the Last Supper) and King David’s Tomb.

If you are interested in helping us with the project, please send an email to federica@rossingcenter.org

Christian Communities at a Crossroads

The webinar was devoted to presenting and analyzing the findings of the Rossing Center’s recent report and survey. It further examined the growing incidence of violence and offered insights into the underlying factors shaping this reality, with particular emphasis on the complex situation of Christians in the Hole Land, especially in East Jerusalem.
