The Fleischman Endowed Lecture of 2025. Benjamin Sommer<\/strong> is Professor of Bible at the Jewish Theological Seminary and Senior Fellow at the Kogod Center for Contemporary Jewish Thought at the Shalom Hartman Institute. He will discuss the ways modern understandings of prayer influenced biblical critical scholarship on the psalms.
